From Boortz-- funny as hell video described below. Must have sound,
otherwise SFW.

This is an actual talk show. The subject is surgery that has gone very
wrong. The Dutch host is talking with a ! His wife is in the wheelchair
next to him.

Here is how the interview unfolded...[~4MB wmv]

Look on the bright side. The unfortunate victim should be able to find
a job playing Sesame Street's Elmo with no difficulty.

OK
Well ive seen the longer clip months ago and the whole gag
is that the man being interviewed has a funny voice that the interviewer
can't
help but laugh at. At the very end he gets even louder. The interview very
likely
doesn't have anything to do with surgery gone wrong. Oh and it was fake
before
the embellishment was added on.

I had my doubts- but still funny. I always thought that there wasn't
any connection between the ol' jewels and a deeper voice, at least
post-puberty. Should have 'snopes'd it.

Of course not. It's from a Belgian (the language is Dutch alright, or
rather Flemish) comedy-show called 'In de Gloria'. It's a sketch (skit,
spoof, whatever) of an ex-reality-talkshow host that supposedly looks
back on the interview that lost him his tv-career. The (fake) interview
on the (fake) talkshow (called Boemerang) is indeed about surgery gone
wrong, she (fake)had her spinal chord damaged, he (fake) his vocal
chords, nothing to do with balls. I'd imagine the makers know Alan
Partridge whose career took a similar dive. Except this skit takes 6
minutes, Alan Partridge's (fake) career took several, hilarious BBC
series.

See what I'm missing by not having cable, or even an antenna!
